PARENT COACHING

No parent is perfect. What matters is the repair.

Parenting can bring moments of deep connection alongside exhaustion, self-doubt, emotional overwhelm, and uncertainty about how to respond during difficult moments. I offer a supportive space for caregivers to reflect more deeply, feel more grounded, and strengthen connection across early childhood through the teen years.

Drawing from evidence-based approaches, including elements of Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), the Reflective Parenting Program (RPP), and Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS), this work focuses on strengthening connection, improving communication, and supporting emotional regulation across early childhood through the teen years.

Coaching, Not Therapy

This is a coaching relationship, not psychotherapy. I am not diagnosing or treating your child, and your child is not my client. My work is with you, building your understanding, your skills, and your confidence as a caregiver. If it becomes clear that your child would benefit from their own therapeutic support, I will help you find the right referral.

Who This Is For

  • Parents navigating exhaustion, self-doubt, or overwhelm in the day-to-day of caregiving

  • Caregivers who want more confidence responding to difficult moments with their child

  • Parents wanting to strengthen connection and communication with their child

  • Parents of teenagers navigating conflict, distance, or the shift toward independence

  • Parents managing a history of loss, fertility treatment, or a difficult birth, who want support attuned to that history

How It Works

1:1 Coaching
Sessions are conversational and tailored to what you bring in. We can meet weekly, biweekly, or as issues come up. Sessions are available in-person at my West LA office or via telehealth. Because coaching is not psychotherapy, it is not limited by state licensure, and virtual sessions are available to parents outside California as well.

Parent Workshops
I lead workshops for parents and caregiver groups, drawing on the same evidence-based approaches. These can be a single session on a focused topic or a short series that goes deeper. Available for community groups, practices, and private cohorts.
