Areas of Focus
-
Your fertility journey can bring a unique kind of emotional strain—uncertainty, waiting, difficult decisions, repeated cycles, and the feeling that so much is outside of your control. Therapy offers space to process the emotional impact of TTC, IVF, IUI, and other fertility treatments while navigating relationships, identity shifts, and what comes next.
-
Pregnancy loss and reproductive grief can be profound, especially when the loss is minimized, misunderstood, or not fully recognized by others. Therapy offers space to process miscarriage, failed fertility treatment, and other reproductive losses without pressure to move on or find a silver lining.
-
Fertility journeys, pregnancy loss, birth, and other reproductive experiences can sometimes feel traumatic, leaving you overwhelmed, disconnected from your body, or bracing for something to go wrong. Using a trauma-informed approach, including EMDR and somatic therapy when helpful, we can work toward feeling more grounded, less activated, and more connected to yourself again.
-
Pregnancy and postpartum can bring enormous emotional and identity shifts alongside the expected joy. Therapy can support anxiety, overwhelm, pregnancy after infertility or loss, difficult or traumatic birth experiences, adjustment to parenthood, relationship changes, and the complicated emotions that can accompany this transition.
-
There are many paths to building a family—or redefining what family and the future may look like. Therapy can provide thoughtful support around donor conception, gestational surrogacy, adoption, and decisions about ending fertility treatment or living childfree, including the grief, uncertainty, identity questions, and relationship considerations that can arise along the way.
Therapy that makes room for the whole experience
Reproductive experiences don’t happen in isolation. What happens physically and medically can affect how you feel emotionally, how you relate to your body, your relationships, and your sense of self.
My approach integrates reproductive and perinatal mental health expertise with trauma-informed therapy, EMDR, and other somatic approaches. Together, we can make space for what you’ve been through while helping you feel more grounded, connected, and able to move forward—without minimizing the uncertainty, grief, or complexity that may still be there.
